Composition of the
Commission
The
Commission consists in terms of section 2 of the LRDC Act as amended, of the
following members:
The Chairperson
The Ombudsman
One Legal Practitioner
appointed by the President after consultation with the Law Society of Namibia
One staff member nominated
by the Minister of Justice and appointed by the President
One person in full-time
lecturing capacity at the Faculty of Law of the University of Namibia, appointed
by the President after consultations with the Vice-Chancellor
Not more than three persons
appointed by the President after consultations with the Minister, who are
suitable on account of any qualification relating to the objects of the
Commission.
